OFFSHORE- When the weather allows the fishing has been very good offshore; unfortunately, doesn't look like the weather is going to allow too much offshore fishing this weekend. Strong winds and rough seas are forecasted over the next few days. Dolphin fishing remains good offshore, with lots of fish in the 5-10lb range being caught. Kingfish are still stacking up on the 120' ledge and readily biting live sardines late in the day. Snapper fishing remains good. Expect fishing to be really good after this weekend of northeast winds and rough seas!
INSHORE- Only a couple weeks left of snook season, so get out after them now! Snook fishing is improving on a weekly basis as they move towards the inlets. The top of the outgoing tide at night is producing the most snook bites. Try throwing bigger swimbaits and flairhawk jigs to get better bites. Other inshore action remains spotty at best. SURF/PIER- Pompano have all but left, with only a few stragglers left to be caught. Whiting and croakers are around in good numbers. Snook are biting croakers good at the pier right now. Some big jacks and tarpon cruising the beach right now. Good Luck This Weekend Everyone! Comments are closed.
