OFFSHORE- Good fishing offshore this week, with nice springtime fishing going on. Good dolphin reports coming in, thought the fish are scattered over a wide range of depths. Sailfish bite has been good this week, with some boats putting up double digits. Best depth for the sails remains 150-250' of water, with goggle eyes remaining the baits of choice. Nice number of kingfish scattered up and down the line, with a few cobia mixed in as well. Bottom fishing reports remain pretty good, and should only improve with nicer weather in the forecast. INSHORE- Snook fishing has been fair this week, especially around the bridges at night. Look for the outgoing tide to produce the best for the snook. Flairhawk jigs and SpoolTek Swimbaits remain solid choices for the snook. Docklights are also holding a good number of snook, with live shrimp being the top bait choice. Snook fishing should only improve as the weather warms up. Other inshore fishing has been a bit spotty. SURF/PIER- Nice mixture of fish around this week along the beach and at the Juno Beach Pier (minus a few days when rough surf drastically slowed down the fishing). The Juno Beach Pier had some reports of snook being caught this week along with a fair number of pompano. The snook were biting flair hawk jigs in the dirty water, while Doc's Goofy Jigs have been the ticket for the pompano. Late season bluefish have been coming through, along with a scattering of Spanish Mackerel. The spinner sharks are still hanging around. Along the beach a fair number of pompano are being reported as well. NOAA MARINE WEATHER: SYNOPSIS...
