HAPPY THANKSGIVING TO ALL OF OUR GREAT CUSTOMERS, FRIENDS, AND FAMILIES!

OFFSHORE- Weather kept just about everybody at the dock most of the week.  Those that braved the rough conditions found some sailfish.  Sails were scattered from 90-180' of water out of Palm Beach and Jupiter Inlets.  Livebaits (goggle eyes and blue runners) under the kite will be the best bet for getting bites south of Jupiter Inlet.  From Jupiter Inlet north trolling small naked ballyhoo will start to become the main tactic for raising sails (pulling a dredge or two will further increase your odds!).  Mixed in with the sailfish will be a few scattered dolphin, kingfish, and maybe even a wahoo or two.  Didn't hear much this week on the bottom, conditions were much less than ideal for anyone to spend much time trying though.  When the ocean calms down the snapper fishing could very well be on fire!

INSHORE- No red hot inshore reports this week, but scattered reports of a catch here and there did trickle in.  The Hobe Sound grass flats (mile marker 40-44) are holding an assorted variety of species.  Small snook, jacks, ladyfish, pompano, and a few trout are possible this time of year.  Live shrimp, Vudu Shrimp, DOA Shrimp, DOA CAL's, Doc's Goofy Jigs, and Gulfstream Shrimp Jigs are all good choices.  The Munyon Island area is also starting to produce some fish as well.  The big tackle busting jacks are around for those looking to pull on something big inshore.  Throw a big noisy topwater to really get them fired up!

SURF/PIER- Slower action this week, but still some fish around along the beach.  Bluefish action picked back up around the Juno Beach Pier.  Silver spoons and cut mullet are both good choices for the blues.  Scattered spanish mackerel around, with numbers increasing up towards Peck's Lake.  Pompano action was slow this week, with only scattered fish being caught.  Plenty of blacktop and spinner sharks around to pull on.  A fresh chunk of ladyfish or jack should get the shark's attention.

SHOP UPDATE- Come see us for our "Black Friday" and "Small Business Saturday" Sales.  Lots of good stuff, great inexpensive stocking stuffers, and even if your not holiday shopping...a good chance to reload your tackle box!

HAVE A GREAT THANKSGIVING EVERYONE!
Todd
