OFFSHORE: Those braving the less than ideal ocean conditions this week found a fairly good dolphin bite going on offshore. Action seemed to be in 200-400' of water from Palm Beach to Jupiter Inlet. Trolling bonita strips and squid was once again a very effective way to put some dolphin in the boat. Going to be a bit sloppy for the weekend, but dolphin fishing should remain good right on through. The east wind should also help keep pushed them in closer to shore. In along the 120' ledge the kingfish remain scattered up and down the line. Drifting sardines on a knocker rig is a solid bet for the kingfish right now. Bottom fishing reports were a bit slow this week; no doubt mostly due to the less than ideal ocean conditions.
