OFFSHORE: Sailfish action remains good from the Lake Worth Pier up to Jupiter Inlet in 150-300' of water. Goggle Eyes and Blue runners remain the baits of choice, especially when presented under the kite. Conditions look right for the sails to snap pretty good this week. Mixed in with the sailfish should be some very nice sized dolphin. Kingfish remain scattered along the top side of the ledge; including some very good sized ones. Bottom fishing remains very good, with nice snapper catches and still a few groupers coming over the rails. Sardines remain the top bait choice on the bottom.
INSHORE: Sheepshead and black drum are being caught sporadically around local bridges. Snook fishing (all catch and release) remains good around the bridges at night. A flair hawk jig or small swimsuit is a great choice for the snook. Other inshore action remains a bit spotty. SURF/PIER: The Juno Beach Pier has been producing a fair number of Spanish and King Mackerel first thing in the morning. Swimming plugs (Rapala X-Raps, Shimano Colt Sniper, and Yo-Zuri Longcast) are a great choice for both the big spanish macs and the kingfish. The bluefish remain scattered up and down the beach in good numbers. Lots of Spanish Mackerel holding in Peck's Lake right now. Scattered pompano are being caught up and down the beach as well. No big numbers on the pomps, but those putting the time in are finding a few.
