"In the Spread"
No trolling spread is complete without a small trolling/tuna feather and a cedar plug in it. These two "oldschool" lures have great fish catching power, and will often get a bite over even the nicest looking ballyhoo. The cedar plug performs best on the "shotgun" line ("WTF back" is another popular placement term when it comes to setting the cedar plug). Put the cedar plug way back and let it work its magic. The trolling feather works well in close and way out, so don't be afraid to play with its placement to find the lucky spot! Comments are closed.
