Weekend Fishing OUtlook (For Weekend of 9/25-9/27/26)

Read Now

OFFSHORE-  Looks like a rough one this weekend offshore!  Everyone was hoping for a strong wahoo bite this weekend on the full moon.  While the wahoo will likely bite this weekend the weather is going to make you earn it!  Nice looking conditions for an early season sailfish bite; it is possible that they could really go off over the next few days.  Dolphin fishing has been very slow; though conditions are lining up for a good push of fish to come through as well over the next few days.

INSHORE-  The finger mullet have shown up inshore in good numbers over the past few days.  A host of predators have been close behind the mullet.  Snook, jacks, tarpon, ladyfish, and maybe a redfish or two are the most likely to be mixed in with the finger mullet.  The finger mullet will be the most active early and late in the day or at night.  Look for the most action to occur around bridges, boat docks, and other ambush points.  Rough swell offshore could help push some snapper inshore this weekend.  In fringe fishing news...the toadies are biting inshore.

SURF/PIER-   Mullet run action has been very good this week, with a lot of big tarpon around.  Snook have still been in the mullet schools, though some early season bluefish could chase them out pretty quickly.  Conditions could make fishing from the beach tough this weekend; but north winds will no doubt have more mullet on the way!  The Juno Beach Pier has been active this week with a good number of blue runners and Spanish Mackerel around; with a few early season pompano in the mix as well.

NOAA MARINE WEATHER:
