OFFSHORE- A bit slow this week, with limited reports coming in from offshore. Still been a decent number of wahoo being caught in 150-250' of water. Early morning and late afternoon have been the most productive for the wahoo. Pulling the planer with a sea-witch and bonita strip combo has been a great way to target the wahoo. A diving plug (Nomad DTX or similar) is also an easy way to get a lure down a bit for the wahoo. Dolphin fishing slowed again this week. Kingfish remain scattered along the 120' ledge, with it being a bit of a slow pick on them. Snapper fishing has been fair, with some good reports coming in. 90-100' of water seems to be working well for the snapper this week, with sardines being the bait of choice. INSHORE- Catch and release snook fishing remains fair inshore, especially near the inlets. The snook have been biting better at night, with a few popping off early in the morning as well. As always fish a moving tide (depending on the spot incoming and outgoing will work) for best luck with the snook. Mangrove snapper fishing has been fair inshore. Best luck with the snapper will come at night, with the top of the outgoing tide generally being tops. Live shrimp and small pilchards are great bait choices for the snapper. Sandperch have been biting small pieces of fresh shrimp in the ICW. SURF/PIER- A bit slow this week along the beach, with the Juno Beach Pier remaining more productive. The Juno Beach Pier has been fair for catch and release snook fishing, with the morning and late afternoon being the best. A few kingfish and bonita continue to cruise past the end of the pier, with a Rapala X-Rap being the top lure choice. Blue runners and a scattering of smaller Spanish and Cero Mackerel have also been bending rods at the pier. Croaker and sandperch have been biting in the first trough on small pieces of shrimp.
