Weekend Fishing OUtlook (2/27-3/1/26)

Read Now

OFFSHORE-  Sailfish action has been good this week; with a good number of fish being caught from the Juno Beach Pier to just north of Jupiter Inlet.  The best depth has been 150-200' depending on the conditions.  Live goggle eyes under the kite will be hard to beat for the sailfish.  Expect a few nice dolphin to be mixed in with the sailfish in the same depths.  Kingfish have been scattered along the 120' ledge in good numbers; with some solid size smokers in the mix.  Blackfin Tuna action remains good up to the north; with solid numbers continuing to be caught off Push Button Hill.  Bottom fishing has been a bit slow this week, but a few snapper around for those putting the time in.

INSHORE-  Overall the fishing has been a bit tough inshore.  Snook fishing has been tough; but those spending the time not eh water have been catching a few fish.  Look for the best action on the snook to come at night, especially on the outgoing tide.  Sheepshead action slowed a bit this week, but still a fair number around.  Live shrimp has been the best bait choice for the sheepshead.

SURF/PIER-  The Juno Beach Pier has been alive this week; with a lot of fish around.  A bulk of the action has been bluefish, including some big ones.  A GT Ice Cream or JYG Pro Vyper casting jig have been great lure choices for the bluefish.  The Juno Beach Pier has also had a lot of jacks cruising by, including some bruiser size fish.  A Rapala X-Rap or Yo-Zuri Mag Speed have been great lure choices for the passing jack schools.  Pompano action has been a bit slow this week, with only a few scattered fish around.  Conditions headed into the weekend look decent for the pomps.  Strong bite on croakers and whiting; with fresh shrimp remaining the top bait choice.
